Ami has been working at Sydney Sports Medicine Centre since the start of 2017 and is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and a member of Massage and Myotherapy Australia. Treating clients with various conditions such as; sporting injuries, dysfunction, acute and chronic pain or those wanting to feel more relaxed both physically and mentally. Her passion is working along side elite athletes from various sports like swimming, cycling, basketball, canoeing, kayaking and is currently working closely with the NSWIS diving team.

As a retired Australian representative swimmer, Ami understands the physiological and psychological stresses that athletes experience during training and competition. Ami has represented Australia at the 2013 World Championships in Barcelona winning a Silver Medal in the 4 x 200 Freestyle relay. She has also competed at the Youth Commonwealth Games, Youth Pan Pacific, Youth Olympics and The World University Games. Utilising her experience as an elite athlete, Ami identifies with the importance of injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Using a combination of myofascial release and deep connective tissue techniques, Ami can help alleviate all types of pain, dysfunction and tightness or simple help de-stress from everyday life.
